Last updated: 23 July 2026.

albumen is a private album club app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. Questions go to support.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and display name, from sign-up, Google sign-in, or Sign in with Apple.
  • Club activity: the albums you pick and queue, your track ratings and notes, room messages, follows, and your song of the month.
  • Preferences: your streaming service, avatar, and notification settings, including push subscriptions if you enable them.
  • Technical data: basic request logs and error reports used to keep the service running.

How we use it

To run the club - showing your picks and scores to your clubmates, sending the emails and notifications you opt into, and improving reliability. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

  • Amazon Web Services - hosting, database, and email delivery.
  • Google - sign-in, Google Analytics for aggregate usage, and YouTube for playable track links.
  • Apple - Sign in with Apple, and Apple Music playback and links.
  • Sentry - error monitoring.
  • Spotify, song.link, and Last.fm - to fetch album and track metadata, genres, and streaming links.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and notification settings on your account page, and you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting support.
